Fagforening Priser

Ordinarily, a company that employs laborers and has a fagforening is likely to be operating in one of following different models…

    Fagforeninger

  • Open shop: A business of this type does not enforce a requirement of a union membership either before or after the employment. In case of companies where there is an active union, the non-members also benefit from collective bargaining of the active billige fagforening. As instance of legislation that mandates open shop is the right-to-work law.
  • Union Shop / Post-entry closed shop: In United Kingdom as union shop is known as the Post-Entry closed shop. A union shop can employ workers outside of union. However, the new employee who is not part of the union must join the union within a prescribed time limit.
  • Closed Shop / Pre-entry closed shop: In US, a closed shop must employ only workers who are members of the union. In UK closed shop is known as “pre-entry closed shop”. In this type of business, the employer can recruit only from the union directly. Similarly, the employee can work only for the company that has a union.

Billige Fagforening

  • Agency shop: This type of business can hire non-union members. However, the newly hired is required to pay for a fagforening priser. This is because the union renders its services even to the non-member in negotiating labor contract. Alternatively, this is also known as the Rand formula. In case of public employees, legislation may make the entire process straightforward.
